Ghost Detector: Ectify is a mobile entertainment application that uses your device's magnetometer to detect electromagnetic fluctuations and an EVP (Electronic Voice Phenomenon) generator powered by a curated local word bank. It is designed for entertainment, exploration, storytelling, and content creation purposes.
By accessing or using the App, you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction) and that you accept and agree to comply with these Terms. If you are under 18, you confirm that a parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on compatible devices you own or control, solely for your personal, non-commercial use. You may not:
The App offers a free tier with limited daily usage. A one-time lifetime purchase is available to unlock premium features, including unlimited sessions, unlimited session duration, and access to the full session history.
All payments are processed through the Apple App Store, Google Play Store, or RevenueCat (revenuecat.com) acting as payment infrastructure. By making a purchase, you also agree to the applicable store's terms and conditions.
There are no subscriptions associated with this App.
Refund requests are handled by the Apple App Store or Google Play Store in accordance with their respective refund policies. We do not process refunds directly. If you believe a charge was made in error, please contact the relevant store's support team.
The App is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement.

Our total aggregate liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App or its in-app purchases in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
The App is designed solely for entertainment purposes. It has no scientific basis and does not provide scientific, medical, psychological, spiritual, or professional advice of any kind. The App does not detect ghosts, spirits, or paranormal activity. EMF readings reflect your device's magnetometer data only. Words generated by the spirit box and EVP features are produced randomly and must not be interpreted as genuine communication with the afterlife or deceased persons. You should not make decisions based on the App's output. We disclaim all responsibility for any actions taken based on information generated by the App and for the manner in which users choose to use the App.
The App allows you to record sessions and export them as video files. You are solely responsible for any content you create, share, or publish using the App. By sharing content generated through the App, you agree not to:

The App requires access to your device's microphone to record sessions and capture EVP audio. Granting this permission is optional but required for full functionality. You can revoke permissions at any time through your device settings.

All rights, title, and interest in and to the App, including its design, code, graphics, sounds, word banks, and branding, are and remain the exclusive property of Grisey Alexandre. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use our trade names, trademarks, or service marks.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, without notice, for conduct that we determine, in our sole discretion, violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties. Upon termination, the licenses granted herein will immediately cease.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Grisey Alexandre from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of or related to your use of the App, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting the updated Terms within the App or on our website. Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of France. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bordeaux, France, without regard to conflict of law principles.
